Join our team of chartered surveyors.

Sign-Off Direct is growing. We are always looking for talented RICS Chartered Building Surveyors across the UK to carry out inspections and issue Professional Consultants Certificates, Architects Certificates and Monitoring Surveys. If you want a steady flow of fixed-fee work without the admin, we would love to hear from you.

Why work with Sign-Off Direct

Flexible, field-based work

Inspections are local to you. You manage your own diary and work the patch you know, with the back-office handling bookings, clients and certificate production.

Steady stream of instructions

We market nationally and feed qualified, fixed-fee work straight to our surveyors. No chasing leads, just turning up and inspecting.

Fair, transparent fees

Clear per-job rates with no haggling. You know exactly what each inspection pays before you accept it.

RICS-regulated practice

Every certificate is issued under proper professional standards and indemnity cover, so you are never exposed working with us.

What we look for

Our certificates are relied on by mortgage lenders, so quality and professionalism come first. The right people for our team usually tick most of these boxes:

  • MRICS or FRICS Chartered Building Surveyor (or working towards, with relevant experience)
  • Confident inspecting domestic and small-development construction across all key stages
  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and the UK Finance Lenders' Handbook
  • Professional, prompt and client-focused — our reputation rests on turnaround and quality
  • Own transport and UK-wide right to work

How to apply

No current vacancy advertised? It does not matter — we review applications from chartered surveyors on a rolling basis and get in touch the moment work comes up in your area.

Send your CV and a short note about your experience and the regions you cover to hello@signoffdirect.co.uk, or message us on WhatsApp.
