Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy

Last updated May 2026

1. Our Commitment

Sign-Off Direct Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

This statement is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations.

2. Our Business

Sign-Off Direct Ltd is a professional building surveying practice issuing Professional Consultants Certificates, Architects Certificates and Monitoring Surveys. Our services are delivered by RICS Chartered Building Surveyors. We operate UK-wide and are registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16750210), with our registered office at 33 Jacobs Wells Road, Bristol BS8 1DQ.

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains are limited in scope and primarily include professional indemnity insurers, technology and software providers, and professional services suppliers. We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low given the qualified, professional nature of our workforce, but we remain vigilant across our wider supply chain.

4. Our Policies

We operate a number of internal policies to ensure we are conducting business ethically and transparently, including:

• Recruitment policy: verifying that all workers are eligible to work in the UK and are recruited fairly. • Supplier due diligence: reviewing the practices of parties in our supply chain. • Whistleblowing policy: enabling staff and contractors to raise concerns about any wrongdoing, including modern slavery, without fear of reprisal.

5. Due Diligence

We carry out due diligence on suppliers and contractors engaged on our behalf. This includes verification of the right to work in the UK, review of fair pay practices, and adherence to health and safety obligations. We expect all those we work with to hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

6. Training & Awareness

We raise awareness of modern slavery risks among our staff so that they understand the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking and know how to report concerns. Maintaining this awareness is an ongoing part of how we run the business.

7. Reporting Concerns

Anyone who believes they have identified or experienced modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with Sign-Off Direct Ltd's business or supply chains should report this immediately to hello@signoffdirect.co.uk. All reports will be treated seriously and in confidence.

8. Approval

This statement is reviewed and approved annually by the directors of Sign-Off Direct Ltd. It is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
